This all started because of my son.

He’s 16 now and autistic, and for many years, reading just didn’t come easily to him. His mind works in incredible way, but traditional learning wasn’t a fit. It wasn’t until the quiet of the COVID lockdown —when the world slowed down and we had space to focus — that I sat with him, day after day, and helped him learn to read. It was slow, beautiful, and one of the most meaningful experiences we’ve ever shared. 

Before long, he was reading everything — books, signs, and even the labels on all the products we had around the house. 

That’s when everything changed.

One day, he looked at me and said he didn’t want to use any of the bathroom products anymore. After reading the ingredients, he just didn’t feel good them. So for six months — six whole months — he only washed with water.

As a mum, that hit me hard. I wanted to help him feel safe and comfortable in his own skin again. That’s when I started learning how to make natural soap. I dove deep into the process, learning everything I could. I experimented, tweaked, and tested until I made something I felt proud to give him. 

Soon, I had soap everywhere—on the counters, in boxes, curing on racks. One thing led to another, and before I knew it, this little passion turned into something bigger.

Now, I make each bar with love, care, and a deep understanding of how important it is to know what we’re putting on our skin—especially for those with sensitivities or sensory needs. These soaps are simple, gentle, and made with families like mine in mind.
